Saving Light Settings

solidThinking allows you to save any light setting and store it in the extensible Materials library so that it can be quickly retrieved for any successive use.

To save a new light setting, press the Save button on the bottom right of the Shading panel.

The Save as Material panel is displayed. Choose the Group where you want to store the new light setting by scrolling the pop-up list, for example Lights. If you want to create a new group, simply type a different name not included in the pop-up list. Then, type the name and click OK to confirm.

You will find the new light setting in the Materials library under the group you chose.
